Needham has access to the expansive MBTA system as well as numerous highways that allow for commuting to both Boston and its surrounding suburbs quite easy. The Needham line of the MBTA Commuter Rail has four stops in Needham (Needham Heights, Needham Center, Needham Junction, and Hersey) and the line goes through Back Bay and terminates at Boston's South Station in the heart of the Financial District.Additionally, the MBTA bus route 59 traverses the town, connecting residents with nearby Newton and Watertown. Needham is also right along Route 128/I-95 and is within close proximity to Route 1 and Route 9, connecting you easily to plenty of attractions and amenities, both near and far.
