The town of Melrose is just under 10 miles from Boston with easy access to and from the city through the MBTA Haverhill Line! Melrose Public School District is comprised of five neighborhood elementary schools, a brand-new middle school which was just awarded the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Compass School, and the recently renovated Melrose High School. The town also has an Early Childhood Center, The Franklin School.
