If you prefer public transportation, the MBTA will truly connect you anywhere you need to go, with 8 bus lines going through town (62, 67, 77, 78, 79, 80, 87, 350) and 3 train lines within just a few miles from downtown (Red - Alewife; Purple - Lowell/Fitchburg; Green - Medford/Tufts)! Finally, if you prefer to walk, Arlington might be a great choice for you, with well-maintained sidewalks and a large stretch of the 11-mile Minuteman Bikeway Rail Trail connecting walkers and bikers throughout Arlington and surrounding towns.
